Quantized thermoelectric Hall plateau in the quantum limit of graphite as a nodal-line semimetal

چکیده

We performed thermoelectric Hall conductivity ${\ensuremath{\alpha}}_{xy}$ measurements on single-crystal graphite in the quantum limit up to 13 T. Both electrical and transport were same crystal extract pure ${\ensuremath{\alpha}}_{xy}$, avoiding any sample quality dependence. The converges a plateau with linear dependence temperature. This behavior is analogous quantized effect (QTHE) observed three-dimensional Dirac/Weyl nodal-point semimetals, experimentally confirms theoretical proposal QTHE semimetals nodal lines as graphite.

Integer Quantum Hall Effect in Graphite

We present Hall effect measurements on highly oriented pyrolytic graphite that indicate the occurrence of the integer quantum-Hall-effect. The evidence is given by the observation of regular plateau-like structures in the field dependence of the transverse conductivity obtained in van der Pauw configuration. Measurements with the Corbino-disk configuration support this result and indicate that ...

Quantized thermal transport in the fractional quantum Hall effect

We analyze thermal transport in the fractional quantum Hall effect ~FQHE!, employing a Luttinger liquid model of edge states. Impurity mediated interchannel scattering events are incorporated in a hydrodynamic description of heat and charge transport. The thermal Hall conductance KH is shown to provide universal characterization of the FQHE state, and reveals nontrivial information about the ed...

Observation of the Zero Hall Plateau in a Quantum Anomalous Hall Insulator.

We report experimental investigations on the quantum phase transition between the two opposite Hall plateaus of a quantum anomalous Hall insulator. We observe a well-defined plateau with zero Hall conductivity over a range of magnetic field around coercivity when the magnetization reverses. The features of the zero Hall plateau are shown to be closely related to that of the quantum anomalous Ha...
